Review

I have loved books 1 and 2 in the Lost Art series, so no surprise book 3 was also amazing! (I love a good heist book)

This book is about Art, a genius for (ironically) art. And after preventing 2 heists, he’s content to sit back and relax. But when his best friend heads to London to meet her father, Art knows Camille will need his help. But what they didn’t except was to find a stolen object that leads them on another wild chase to stop a heist before it’s too late…

This book was fantastic. Filled with humor, adventure and mystery; it is an amazing art heist that kids would love!!!!! I love how this series teaches you about art, while also writing a totally awesome adventure to go with it. Boys 10 and up would especially love this 3 book series.

There is some violence in the book. People threatening others and forcing them to do stuff. Mention of getting hurt, guns and such. Plus mention of death. (Someone does fall to their death.) Thankfully it isn’t detailed, so the book is very clean for kids 10 and up.

Overall, this is a wonderful end to this series! (At least I think it’s the end 😉 ) I totally suggest this book to kids 10 and up. And I hope you have a Blessed Day! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • A fantastic adventure!!!
  • Great for boys!!!
  • 10 and up!

Cons

  • Some violence

No matter how dangerous his adventures have been, Art has always been able to count on his best friend, Camille.

Now that Camille is meeting her estranged father, Art wants to be there for her—which means going to London.

But Camille’s history professor father, renowned for expertise in British legend, is missing.

When they visit his apartment, Art and Camille find a long-missing object that suggests the professor could be in trouble and solving a mystery related to London’s history.

Follow Art and Camille as they visit the Tower of London, National Portrait Gallery, and ride the “tube” in hopes of uncovering the truth before it’s too late.
