Review

I’m going to be totally honest…. I pretty much spent all day reading this book. Because this is literally the Perfect rom-com!!! (And not just because that’s the title of the book)

This book is about Bryony Page, a young writer with a desperate dream to sell her book and save her families ESL business. So she goes to find an agent; but in doing so, Bryony accidentally becomes the ghostwriter to a popular novelist. And more shocking than that, she’s good… Really good. So good that her agent won’t let publish under her own name. So good she can’t get out of this contract. So good, she’s able to support her families dream! But not good enough to publish her own dream…

This book was FABULOUS!!!! I have no complaints! (Except maybe the name Bryony. Be honest, can you properly say it the 1st time?) This is quite literally the most perfect romantic comedy I have ever read. I’m talking about stunning plot line, amazing characters and such good writing you can’t put it down! (Yet again… I’ve been reading since 10 this morning with little to no breaks…) Ladies, if you love a good, clean, funny rom-com; you will adore this one! It’s sooooo romantic and too sweet!!!! I just don’t have any ‘cons’ to complain about.

Overall, yes. Yes this is the book for you. Yes you need to read it right now. Yes you will love it. And Yes… I am totally obsessed! Perfect for young ladies 13 and up, and may you all have a Book-filled day!!!! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • The perfect rom-com!!!
  • Adorable, funny and totally engaging!
  • I could not put it down!!!!!!

Cons

  • None… It’s the perfect book!

She’s written dozens of smash hit romance novels. Too bad no one knows it.

Aspiring author Bryony Page attends her first writers conference bursting with optimism and ready to sell her manuscript with long-shot dreams of raising awareness for her grandmother’s financially struggling organization where she teaches ESL full-time. What she doesn’t expect is to get tangled up with Jack Sterling, a jaded literary agent who will change everything. Their partnership begins with a devil’s bargain: Bryony will ghostwrite for his talentless bestselling client if Jack will represent her real novel. But as deadlines loom and sparks fly during a traveling book tour that’s always one breath away from disaster, Bryony realizes she’s not just rewriting romance novels–she’s living one.

Don’t miss the latest delightful laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from bestselling author Melissa Ferguson, a story of two seemingly mismatched hearts brought together by fate, proving that sometimes, the perfect love story is hidden in the pages of a well-loved book.
