Review

So, I loved the 1st book in this series a lot. This is a Christian-themed sci-fi series about the story of Moses. And it is amazing!!!!! There’s action, romance, adventure and mention of spiritual sci-fi warfare!

This is book 2 of the series and is about the Drudge’s rebellion and release from the Elite class. Chosen by the Immortal Ell Yon, Daeson struggles to adjust to his new role as the leader of the Drudge class, and their only way to freedom. With plagues and evil spreading through the planet will Ell Yon’s people ever have their freedom? Or will the Elite destroy them all before Daeson can figure out how to free them…

I loved this book! It has adventure! Action! Romance! And an amazing story that just keeps you reading till the end!!!!! And this book is completely Christian-friendly! Because… It’s the story of Moses told in a sci-fi adventure perfect for teens!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean it is amazing how this story is completely retold in this awesome book. But, with all sci-fi books, there is violence. Knifes, guns, ships blowing up, people using Immortal weapons, and battles that will leave you breathless. (Either in a good way or bad…) Plus, there are evil people in the book. Since this is a retelling of a Bible story, there is mention of Spiritual Warfare. You have been warned of the awesomeness…

Over all, READ IT!!! I can not stop suggesting this book! This is a book made for boys and girls who love sci-fi and the Bible!!!! I am telling you… READ THIS BOOK!!! And have a nice day. -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • An amazing space adventure for teens!!!!
  • Clean, Christian-friendly and perfect for boys!

Cons

  • Sci-fi violence.

Ancient prophecies promise a future of hope, but who dares face the wrath of a powerful tyrant? Daeson seeks the counsel of the oracle that propelled him into a life of ruin and terrifying adventure. But the ruthless Chancellor Lockridge offers no quarter to his life-long friend turned traitor. Lockridge’s thirst for revenge spills the blood of thousands of innocent Rayleans, and Daeson bears the burden of global calamity. Rejected by all except the spirited Raviel, Daeson struggles to carry on. When the whispers of the Immortal Ell Yon beckon Daeson to a remote moon of the planet Mesos, he must find the courage to face his deepest fears. Can Daeson trust the words of an ancient Immortal and inspire the slaves of Jypton to rise up? Not only does the future of his people hang in the balance, but the entire galaxy as well!
