Review
This steampunk adventure is one full of mystery, action, danger and suspense! It is a 6 book series that will keep you reading till the end.
This book is about Zaira, a young lady who is stuck working her farm after her parents death. But then her fathers lawyer tells her about the airship she has inherited. Now Zaira is stuck working for the kingdom with an airship she doesn’t know how to drive. But when war starts lurking around every corner, Zaira starts finding out more about the world she lives in… And the dangers that are hidden…
This world of kingdoms set in a steampunk age is super cool! I loved the storyline, the characters were awesome and the plot was wonderful. I will say I did get confused sometimes while reading it, but that doesn’t take away from the book. Teens 14 and up would enjoy this fun, steampunk world!
Now there is violence in the book. Mention of guns, swords, people getting hurt, shot, stabbed and so on. There is mention of prisons, being mistreated and such. As well as mention of peoples body parts shoved into crates and covered in blood… I will say, that was horrifying to read. It thankfully wasn’t detailed… But still…
Overall, this book is one I enjoyed and a series I will keep on reading! If you love a steampunk world, this would be a great read for you!!!! -The Young Llama Reader.
