I love a good Christian, Historical novel full of drama and romance!!!! And this book did not disappoint!
This book is about Captain Marcus Weatherford, a man who is working undercover for the good of Briton but not for the good of his heart. So when he is tasked to go to Russia with a fake fiancée, Marcus loses the love of his life Clare Danner for the good of the war. Clare decides to forget about Marcus and move on. With her young daughter and work at the hospital, she’s plenty busy; but only 2 weeks past before he’s back in her life… Except Marcus doesn’t remember her… Or his mission…
This book was a wonderful read full of surprises and sweet romance!!! Honestly the plot twists in the book were amazing!!! Lots of mystery and I had no idea what would happen next. This novel is sweet and romantic, with lots of trials and trusting in God throughout the whole story. Young Ladies 14 and up would love this historical read!
Now there is some violence mentioned in the book. Talk of war victims and soldiers who lost limbs. Mention of some blood, stitches and wounds. The book is about a undercover agent so there are dark topics, but other than that, it’s a very clean read!
Overall, this novel is a wonderful addition to my library! With humor, romance and plenty of suspense, this is a book I totally suggest to ladies 14 and up. Happy Readings! -The Young Llama Reader.
