Can I just say, I am LOVING this series!?!?! It has adventure, magic, action and a wonderful focus on family!!!
This book is about Lily, a young girl who is a gifted artist in the dream realm. But when she journeys back to the real world to see her family again; she wasn’t excepting the nightmares to appear in the real world too!!! Now it’s a race against time, as the shrouds attack all across the globe. But Lily is on her own in the waking world… The prince can’t reach her here, and she isn’t certain she can stop the enemy alone…
This series is just plain awesome!!! It’s like Narnia, but set in a world of dreams and nightmares. It is full of adventure, action, and fight scenes! Not to mention the fabulous focus on friendship and family. This is book 4 in the series, and I can NOT wait for book 5!!!
Now there is violence and dark topics in the series. Mention of people getting hurt, cut or injured. Mention of shrouds attacking everyone. (The shrouds are living nightmares that represent demons) So there is some spiritual warfare brought up in the series. It isn’t too dark, however the nightmares are creepy. (Which makes sense, because all nightmares are creepy!!!)
Overall, this is one of my new all time favorite series!!!! I am loving it, and girls 8 and up would love it too!!!! (And I seriously need book 5…) Happy Readings! -The Young Llama Reader.
