Review

This book is soooo sweet as well as slightly heartbreaking! It is the perfect mixture of suspense and romance that keeps you reading till the end!!!

This novel is about Jenny, a young women struggling to keep her family’s orange grove in business after her brother killed 2 people and himself. With no one willing to trust her family, it only gets worse after Jenny finds a skeleton in a tree on her land. And found next to the body is a priceless treasure that could save her grove. Now police are everywhere and the investigation is leading to darker secrets than anyone is expecting. And the only person willing to help Jenny is the man who broke her heart…

This book was soooooo good! It moved at a fast pace, with lots of fun mysteries and clues to follow. The romance was sweet as well as heartbreaking; and I just loved the story! This novel would be a great read for teens 15 and up who love a funny, slightly heartbreaking romance/mystery!!!

Now there are some dark topics in the book. Mention of murder, death, and suicide. There’s some mention of mental illness and how it effects family. The author does a great job mentioning the darker stuff, but not describing it too much. It’s very clean and easy to read.

Overall, what a great novel! I just loved it, can’t wait to read more by this author and I totally suggest this book! May you all have a beautiful day!!!! -The Young Llama Reader.
