Review

This used to-be my all-time favorite series!!! I was head-over-finns in LOVE with these books!!!!! Though… I have only read books 1-5. Two new books came out awhile ago, and one of them involved a ghost ship… It’s called “Emily Windsnap and the Ship of Lost Souls”… And I’m not reading that one!

Anyways, books 1-5 are all clean and fun! The books are about a girl (obviously named Emily Windsnap) who is a mer-human. Basically she’s half mermaid, and half-human. The books are all about how she’s trying to fit in the world and fit in the mer-world. The books are all really good, and I highly suggest them to young girls. (Just don’t read the 6th and 7th books)

Over all, I love these books!!!!!! As I said before, books 1-5 should be very, clean and perfect for younger girls! But I don’t know about book 6 and 7. I hope this review was helpful!!!!! Love you guys! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • A very good, clean, funny, mermaid adventure
  • A great book for young girls!

Cons

  • Magic?

For as long as she can remember, twelve-year-old Emily Windsnap has lived on a boat. And, oddly enough, for just as long, her mother has seemed anxious to keep her away from the water. But when Mom finally agrees to let her take swimming lessons, Emily makes a startling discovery – about her own identity, the mysterious father she’s never met, and the thrilling possibilities and perils shimmering deep below the water’s surface.
