Review

This book was a gift, (Thank you Claire!) and I really enjoyed it!!! The plot was not what I was expecting, the end was even more shocking; this is a great read!

This book is about 3 siblings separated after their parents die. The eldest, recruited by a photographer to be his assistant. The middle child, jumps around from family to workhouse. And the youngest, living in privilege with no knowledge of her real family. When they are all in the same town without knowing it, danger sneaks in and could ruin everything before they even meet again…

This book was really interesting!!! Reading about the 3 different siblings was so interesting. I loved the adventure and focus on God as well. This is a great book for young ladies 15 and up. There are some dark topics in the book. Mention of loss, people getting hurt, mention of being beaten, whipped and such. Also mention of a woman getting interest from men she didn’t want and having to get help to escape from it.

Overall, this is a great historical romance! Clean, Christian-friendly and fun! Happy Reading!!! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • A great Christian novel!
  • Interesting and great for ladies 15 and up!!!

Cons

  • Some dark topics…

Orphaned in a tenement fire, three Irish immigrant children, hoping to be adopted, are sent to Missouri aboard an orphan train.

Despite eight-year-old Maelle’s desperate attempts to keep her siblings together, each child is taken by a different family.

Maelle vows that she will never stop searching for her siblings and that they will be together one day.

Sixteen years later, Maelle is still searching.

So are her brother and sister.

United by blood, divided by time, will they ever be reunited?
