Review
This magical adventure is full of mystery and romance! It is a great read for girls 14 and up!
This book is about Britta Flannery, a young women caught in the cross-fires of war. When her father, a legendary bounty hunter, passed away Britta was forced to poach to survive. But when she was caught, her already miserble life got worse. The only way to save herself is to hunt done her fathers killer, her best friend Cohen Mackay. With danger, forbidden magic and hidden kingdom secrets, Britta isn’t certain she is up for the task…
This book was stellar! The story was amazing and I loved every chapter. It is very clean with only a few kisses. The main characters do sleep close to each other while camping and share a bed at one point but nothing happens. Girls who love magical fantasy adventures would really enjoy this series! Now there is some curse words. No f-word, but the others are there. As well as some mention of those who do magic but twist it to something dark. (No voo-doo, but there are women in the book who can use the elements with their magic. And one of the elements is the soul/life/spirit)
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and totally suggest it to young ladies 14 and up! Can’t wait to read book 2!!! -The Young Llama Reader.
