This is book 3 in the Just Below the Surface series and it is such a sweet romance!!!!!!! I got this book from the author, (Thank you Ms. Macrum!!!!!) and I am totally obsessed!!!!! (I also can’t decided which book is my favorite, because I love them all!!!!!!)
This book is about Seraphina Mitchell, or Sera as she “demands” to be called. A eclectic painter with a broken heart. Sera isn’t really interested in a forever with anyone, espsially not Ben Sharpe, the Christian guy who is helping her fix up her newly inherited home. But Ben isn’t what she thought a Christian would be, and Sera isn’t as crazy as Ben first assumed. With romance, humor and a wonderful message about finding a forever in love and God, this book is the perfect rom-com!
I just adored this book!!!!! The romance was soooooo cute! I loved the story-line and the characters were just fabulous! I really love how this series focuses on finding God in the hardships in life. It is so sweet and heart-warming that I just think it is a perfect novel for young ladies 15 and up!!!!
Now there is mention of toxic relationships in the book. Each of the novels in the series go through a trial, which I think just makes the books even more interesting. In this story, Sera was in a toxic relationship where she wasn’t abused, however she was used without ever receiving love in return. It can be sad to read about, but then you read the romance between Ben and Sera it makes it soooo much better!!!!!!!
Overall, this book is a 10 out of 10 for me! It has humor, romance and a wonderful focus on God! What more could you want?!?! If you love a good, clean, Christian romantic-comedy, this is the book for you. (And you should probably go and get Just Below the Surface and Beyond Shattered Dreams as well, because they are amazing!!!!!!) Happy Readings! -The Young Llama Reader.
