Review

This book was sent to me from Baker Book House – which I love!

The story was definitely a love story that spanned several years and promoted the elements of God’s grace and forgiveness.

The two main characters learn to forgive each other, and learn to make God the center of their lives through a series of past and present events that bring them together.

Set in a small, seaside town, the characters of this story find peace in faith and community and their experiences make this a sweet, heartfelt story that I would highly recommend reading.

This is a very realistic book, so I would recommend ages 16+, due to some adult topics. Nothing is described in detail, however, the topics DO come up. -The Turtle Reader.

Pros

  • Very sweet story.
  • Christian-friendly!
  • Promoted forgiveness and grace.

Cons

  • Some adult topics.

“Christi Reece arrived in Hope Harbor reeling from a series of setbacks and desperate for help. But Jack Colby wants nothing to do with the woman who betrayed him-until a turn of events finds him needing her help”
