Review

I adore this book!!!!!!! It’s Christian-friendly, kid-friendly, sci-fi, adventure, and AWESOMENESS!!!!! This really is s good book for all ages! (Though there is some violence… But only a little, and it isn’t descriptive just mention of dying and such.)

The book is about this kid who lives on mars and has no movement in his legs. And he has to solve all of these mysteries in a way. Aliens, running out of oxygen, and he can control a robot with his mind… (Also cool!!!!!!!!!) And the kids mom believes in God in the book, and he is learning about God too. So, very Christian-friendly.

There is some violence in the book, people are running out of oxygen. Aliens attack someone. But that’s about it… So, actually there isn’t that much violence… Huh. So, YES! This book is kid-friendly, Christian-friendly, and a great book for boys! (Though it does go by fast. There are 2 stories in every book and they aren’t that thick of books; so, these are quick reads.)

Over all, I love this book and I suggest it to everyone right now! If you like sci-fi, adventure, and mystery… I’ve found your book! (And this one is going on my favorite shelf!) Have a fantastic day! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

Set in an experimental community on Mars in the year 2039, The Robot Wars series features 14-year-old virtual reality specialist Tyce Sanders. Life on the red planet is not always easy, but it is definitely exciting. Tyce finds that the mysteries of the planet point to his greatest discovery―a new relationship with God. He talks about his growing faith and curiosity in a manner that kids can relate to as they are probably wondering some of the same things. Each book contains two exciting adventures. In the first adventure, the Mars project is in trouble and only Tyce holds the key. In the second adventure, Tyce has discovered there may be killer aliens on the loose.
Robot Wars is a repackaged and updated version of Mars Diaries. There are now five books in the series; each book contains two stories. These new books contain a foreword about how far science has brought us.
