Review

Ok, first of all I would just like to say… THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!!!!! (And thank you Ms. Leslea for sending it to me!!!!! I loved it!) I already love all of Leslea Wahl’s books but this one may just be my new favorite!!!!

This is the 2nd book of the Perfect Blindside and it continues on with the same characters but in a different adventure! (Plus there is MORE snowboarding!!!! COOL!)

There is some adult mentions in the book. (A girl tries to hand her room key to the snowboarder) So I would say this is a teen book not a kid book. And there is some violence as well; a few people break some bones and have rough wipe-outs… (Ouch!) But it’s not really descriptive.

Over all, I ADORE THIS BOOK!!! I HIGHLY suggest you read it and it is perfect for teens!!!!!!! (And I do believe it can be a girl or boy book. ) It will be released in January and I cannot wait for other people to read this amazing book! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • A AMAZING book for teens!!!
  • Very Christian-friendly!
  • LOVE!!!!!!

Cons

  • Some mention of ‘adult-ish’ stuff

After winning Olympic silver, teen snowboarder Jake Taylor is struggling with sudden fame when he s offered a gig he can t refuse: becoming a spokesperson for a state-of-the-art athletic training facility. Training for its first competition, Jake relies on his faith to help him find ways to use his fame to help others . . . when athletes mysteriously start getting sabotaged one by one. Time is running out for Jake and his girlfriend, Sophie, to figure out what is going on before he is also sabotaged . . . or worse.
