Review
I really do like this book, but goodness gracious is it gross!!! There is a TON of violence in it, and mention of “adult” things!!!!! (So, this is a no-no for kids younger than 13… Sorry)
The book is about this girl who goes back in time, it is really good but there is violence. LOTS of mention of… everything!!!! Axes stuck in… someone… Swords cutting people open, and stitches having to be taken out…. Soooo…Yeah, that happened…. (The violence isn’t creepy bad, I just have a sensitive stomach…)
Over all, I do suggest this book but ONLY to kids 13 and up. (Because there is mention of women being ‘aped. Kids… don’t ask!) So, as always ask your parents first! -The Young Llama Reader.
Pros
- A good books for OLDER teens
- Adventure, time-travel and action
- Christian-friendly too!
Cons
- A whole lot of violence

Remaining means giving up all she’s known and loved … and leaving means forfeiting what she’s come to know—and love itself.
