Summary
The Green Ember series is one of my favorites. It pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. Plus it usually ends on a cliffhanger. (I don’t like those as much, especially when the next book isn’t due until next year.) But this is a great book. I already did a review on the first book, but I thought you might like a review on the second too. So, here we are.
The second book continues with the story of the war between the Great Wood and Morbin Blackhawk. While Picket and Heather, the main characters of the story, struggle to find their family as they try to protect the future king. This story is amazing and a little confusing. If you read my first review of this series you already know that these books can be a little difficult to read. They aren’t impossible to read, it just gets confusing with how many names there are in the book. All you have to do though is read it slow and enjoy the story.
Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone, as long as they can understand the similarity of all the names. This is a great series, and it totally could be a book for the whole family. Hope you liked this review. -The Tiger Reader
