The Academy series by T.Z. Layton is one of my new favorites!!! I love a good sports book, but this series goes above and beyond! It’s full of adventure, friendship, trials, teamwork and fun! A perfect series for boys 8 and up.
First of all, the covers are absolutely stunning! (I love a good cover design) Second of all, the series is completely clean! Golden Llama y’all!!! No cursing, no woke stuff, this set of soccer books is perfect for any kids.
There is bullying in the book. Mention of playing dirty, sabotage, injures and such. All clean. There is also mention of anime like One Piece, Demon Slayer and such. Only mentioned in passing or on clothing items.
Overall, 10 out of 10 for me! All 6 books are 100% clean for kids and I can’t wait for book 7!!!!! -The Young Llama Reader.
