Review
I love this magical romance!!! It is Pride and Prejudice meets Narnia meets Hallmark and I LOVE IT!
This book is about Ivy Fairwood, a young half-human living in a small town with big dreams. Except her dreams of owning her own shop and dashed when a mysterious elf, Caelen Vael, buys it with his young daughter. Now with no hope for a future, Ivy isn’t certain what comes next for her. Until a secret admirer starts writing her letters filled with the love and peace that could only be from her dreams!
This book was ADORABLE!!!! I could not get enough of it. I was giggling and swooning over every chapter. If you love a magical, Christian-friendly, Pride and Prejudice that has all the creatures of Narnia; this is the book for you! I think young ladies 16 and up would love this novel.
Overall, I totally suggest this book! This is the 1st book in a new series, and I can not wait for more!!!! -The Young Llama Reader.
Pros
- A great novel for young ladies 16 and up!!!
- Cute, magical and fun!
Cons
- Not for kids
Ivy Fairwood has only ever wanted one thing: her own shop where she can sell her special tea blends and medicinal herbs. But when the mysterious elf, Caelen Vael, and his young daughter move into Gracehaven and purchase the very empty storefront she has her heart set on, that dream is dashed.
Caelen is cold, aloof, and carries himself with all the airs of a nobleman rather than the owner of Gracehaven’s first stationery and art supply shop. Ivy wants nothing to do with him.
Unfortunately for her, God has other plans.
And when letters from a secret admirer start to arrive—an admirer who seems to know her better than she knows herself—she will soon find herself having to make an impossible choice.
Because sometimes God answers prayers in ways that overturn every plan.
And soften even the hardest of hearts.
