Review

I love this series!!!! If Hallmark made Fairytales, this is exactly what it would be like! (And the covers are stunning!!!!!!!)

This book is about Thea Greene, a cafe owner with no time for any nonsense. Especially not Nathaniel Alder, the man who broke her heart years ago. Now he’s her landlord, and trying despertly to fix their relationship. But Thea doesn’t want romance again, she doesn’t want love again and she doesn’t want Nat again. So when he starts disappearing and a random cat starts showing up… Thea isn’t certain if she’s concerned or relieved.

This book is adorable! I love the Galamere Chronicles! They are sweet and funny, the perfect read for a rainy day. I love the romance, and I was soooo happy to finally have Thea and Nat’s story!!!! (You can read the beginning of their story in Tales of Cake And Comfort!) This book is a 10 out of 10 for me! Great for young ladies 14 and up.

There is magic in the book. Wizards, herb-witches, curses and potions. It’s all very Disney though. No voo-doo or such. And the herb-witch is actually the next romance, so that’s interesting!!!

Overall, as simple as these stories are, they are perfectly wonderful! I love each and every book and totally suggest them. Happy Reading!!! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • A wonderful romance!!!
  • Great for young ladies 14 and up!

Cons

  • Magic and curses

A café owner, her former love, and the curse between them.

Thea Greene has no time for nonsense—especially not from her overly charming landlord who delivers flowers “for the building” and thinks a smile can fix anything. She’s too busy running her business, finding an apprentice, and reminding herself that falling for Nat again is only asking for him to break her heart once more.

Nathaniel Alder wants nothing more than to fix his relationship with Thea, which is difficult when she won’t talk to him. When a wand-wielding maniac turns him into a cat—whiskers, tail, and all—in front of the Cozy Cat Cafe, it’s a blessing and a curse. Being with Thea as a cat isn’t what he planned, but it’s more time and attention than she gave him before.

Can Nat break the curse he’s under and convince Thea that he’s worthy of her trust, or will their second chance at love turn out the same as the first?
