I usually review books, but every now and then I find a great movie that I want to share!
The Illusionist is a movie about a magician who is determined to stun the crowd and bring to light what is hidden in the shadows. With forbidden love, mystery and stunning plot twists; this is a great movie for families to enjoy! (13 and up age recommendation)
This movie is a blast! I loved the mystery and intrigue, the plot was wonderful and the characters were soooo interesting!!!
There is “magic” in the movie. The Illusionist does stunning tricks and “raises the dead” but it isn’t voo-doo or anything. There is murder, violence and blood in the movie. But it isn’t too graphic, but not kid-friendly.
Overall, if you are looking for an amazing movie to watch with your family soon… This is the movie for you! -The Young Llama Reader.
