Review
I am quite obsessed with the Galamere Chronicles! They are the cutest romance novels full of magic and sweetness!!!!! Young ladies 14 and up would love this fabulous series!
This book is about Dietrich, the stable master of a Duke who he let down when he saw his daughter disappear years ago. Then he meets Ella, a sweet young women stuck in a rough family who might be the missing duchess. However Ella isn’t certain she wants to be a duchess, and begs Dietrich to help her figure out how to act like a noble. He agrees, but along the way Dietrich starts falling in love. And Ella is a duchess… Duchesses don’t marry stable masters…
This cozy fantasy is a stellar read! It’s filled with sweet romance, cute story-telling and fabulous characters!!!!!!! I just love, Love, LOVE this series!!!!! If Hallmark made fairytales, this would be the result… And I love it!!!!!!!!!! (Great for girls 14 and up who love clean, magical romances!)
There are some sad topics in the book. Mention of a daughter who went missing and is presumed dead. There is a family in the book who mistreats Ella. It isn’t graphic, but she is treated like a servant and used.
Overall, this is a wonderful retelling of Cinderella! It’s too cute!!!!!!!! I totally suggest this book to young ladies 14 and up! Happy Readings! -The Young Llama Reader.

A missing duchess, a stable boy, and a magical ball.
Years ago, Dietrich failed to prevent the disappearance of the Duke’s daughter, and the guilt has eaten at him ever since. His persistent searching has finally paid off, but now that he’s found the missing girl, he doesn’t know what to do. The obvious answer is to tell her father, but her plea to let her stay hidden leaves him torn between his duty to the Duke and the need to protect the girl he can’t stop thinking about.
Trading in her apron for a ball gown is a terrifying prospect for Ella, but if it gives her the chance to leave her step family and find a family that truly loves her, she’ll try. As Dietrich teaches her how to be a duchess, her feelings for him develop into something that hardly seems appropriate for a duchess and her father’s stable master, leaving her wondering if rejoining the nobility is what she truly wants.
Can love transcend the limits they’ve imposed, or will Dietrich and Ella allow duty to reign supreme?
