It’s my birthday! Which means I get to update my YoungLlama about me page with a new bio and fabulous new picture! (Taken by my talented sister of course. Thank you Merry!!!)
Is it silly to do my own birthday post, probably. But I use this day to tell you all a little about myself and why I review! (And yet again to get a new birthday picture… 😉 )
My name is Kelsey and I love books! I love books so much that I made this wonderful website (with my family’s help of course) to help other book lovers find good, clean, Christian-friendly reads! My goal is to help people find book reviews that actually tell you what is in the book. One day I want to own my own bookstore called Young Llama Books! I want it to be filled with all sorts of novels, each one having it’s own review. So you know what you are getting before you even leave the store.
I am a drummer, illustrator, baker and crafter! I love sheep and llamas. I am a yellow ray of sunshine, who has a bit of a temper. I am a pastor’s daughter and a child of God. I love giving gifts, making people smile and surprising strangers with kindness. My goal in life is to help others. I may never be famous, but I will smile from the sidelines as others get to shine!!! This website is a dream I never knew I had in me, but I am so happy I get to chase after it. And until Jesus comes back, I will be reviewing books to help kids, teens, young adults, parents and families find good books.
