Hola my Llama Friends! Today I have 2 book warnings that I am doing a quick review for. Both of these books are novels I was super excited about, however they are sadly political and woke… Which is why I am giving these warnings on them so you don’t have to be surprised like I was!
The 1st book is Wrecker by Carl Hiaasen. This author usually writes fun, adventurous books for boys. Unfortunately this book was super political… This book was supposed to be about a kid who is caught up in a illegal boat operation. But instead it is practically a spokesman for how “dangerous” Covid is and how the “only option” is the vaccine. Every other page was about it!!!!! Talk about obnoxious!!!!! Masks and quarantine, elbow bumps and judging people for not wearing a mask. That is soooo stupid ok! It is 2025, I am done with Covid. And there is no need to put a political message in a book for kids!!!!!!!
The other book was a TinkerBell novel for teens about the romance between the Queen and the guardian of winter in 
Secret of the Wings. This book is literally for all the little girls who grew up but still like their happy childhood memories! HOWEVER… This book is sadly woke. There is a side love story in the novel between 2 women.
And let me just say, I do not despise LGBT people, but I do not support them or their worldview. As a Christian, I follow the Bible not the world, and LGBT is wrong and I do not read books with the content. So, sadly this book is not Christian-friendly and I did not enjoy it because of the woke content that was put into it.
So overall, these 2 books are not books I suggest. The political parts of the book take away from the story and ruin it for me. I would also like to say, if you disagree with me and don’t like that I, as a Christian, refuse to read this stuff… That’s ok! You can have your opinion, but maybe this website wouldn’t be for you then because I review for Christians who don’t want to read this stuff. Have a Blessed Day. -The Young Llama Reader.
