Here is the 3rd list! My Teen’s Summer Book List is for boys and girls 12 and up! Filled with magical adventures, thrilling sci-fi’s or sweet rom-coms, these 10 books are perfect for older youth this summer!
10. Nova (Spectre War book 1) by Margaret Fortune This amazing science-fiction adventure is great for girls or boys 12 and up! About a girl who is quite literally a ticking-time-bomb, it goes through her life and story in a galaxy at war.
9. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed by Sean Williams One of my favorite Star Wars stories ever! This 2 book series is about 1 of Darth Vader’s apprentices. There is action, adventure, violence and romance all in this fabulous series! (It’s also a video game!) Great for boys 13 and up!
8. Just Below the Surface by Lindsay A. Marcum This super cute rom-com is a Christian-friendly workplace story! Filled with humor and sweet romance, this novel is perfect for ladies 15 and up! (I also totally suggest books 2 and 3 in this series as well!!!!)
7. The Healing Rose of Savannah by Jenny Elaine Is a serial killer/stalker, Christian-fiction novel. Be prepared for goosebumps and action, because this series is slightly terrifying and totally amazing!!!! It would be a great novel for girls 16 and up who love a good clean thriller!
6. An Outlaw’s Redemption by C. D. Ross Is such a good historical fiction novel about a thief finding God! It is soooo sweet and I just love everything about it! And it is now part of a series about the Oregon Trail that I also suggest! Girls 15 and up would love this book!
5. Diverged in a Wood curated by Kylie Beevers Is a collection of short stories, poems and books written by 15 very talented authors! And I LOVE IT!!!!! All the stories are soooo unique and interesting. It’s such a blast to read! And honestly, kids 8 and up could totally read this, but it went on the teen list because I was running out of room! 🙂
4. The King’s Trial by M. L. Farb This 2 book series is one of my favorite fantasy reads!!! (And it isn’t even magical!) It is Christian-friendly series about 2 men figuring out how to lead a kingdom out of war. And it is amazing!!!!! It’s a great pick for boys 13 and up!
3. Dust (Heirs of Neverland Book 1) by Kara Swanson This book is stunning! It’s Christian-friendly and set in Neverland! It’s about defeating your own shadows and demons, finding hope in the darkest places, and I love it!!! This series is a great read for teens 14 and up!!!!!
2. Prophetess of Arden by L. A. Thornhill This book is the 1st in a new series coming out, set in a different fantasy-like world and it’s amazing! With action, romance, adventure and spiritual warfare, this book is my happy place! I adored it, and now I am impatiently waiting for book 2. It’s perfect for girls 15 and up!
1. Truth Cursed by Angie Dickinson This is my number 1 pick for teens this summer! Truth Cursed is an amazing Christian-friendly book about a girl cursed with truth. It’s about a school for ladies in waiting to become spies. It’s filled with adventure, mystery and some cute romance! I totally suggest this fabulous book to girls 12 and up!!!!
