Review

I just loved this series! The Wild Robot really was an amazing book and is currently one that is very popular! The movie based off of the 1st book was stunning! (And better than the book honestly) And this book really brings a happy ending to a fantastic series!

Roz has now returned to her wild island. Though life has changed a bit, the Wild Robot is happy in her new body and surrounded by her animal family. But when a toxic current starts poisoning the ocean, Roz’s once beautiful island starts to die. With no other choice but to fight, our precious robot starts out across the ocean to stop the Poison Tide and protect those she loves. But will it be enough?…

This book was amazing! Like the other 2 books in the series, Roz goes on an adventure across the world to save the day! The novel is filled with adventure, action and tons of fun facts. It is very clean and would be a great series for kids. There is some violence. Mention of animals dying. Poison killing off ecosystems and such. Mentions of animals attacking, some blood and other such violence. But it is all very clean and kids could totally read it.

Now, there is a weird part in the book. With the way our world has gone woke, I’m going to treat this as an agenda and not just a fun fact. If you didn’t know, there are animals in the world that are gender-less or they change genders. Mostly fish and slugs, and it usually happens so they can reproduce. Why God made them? I don’t know, but He did it for a reason. However, some people have used these animals as an excuse for transgender stuff. (Which is weird. Why would you compare someone to a slug?) So in the book, Roz is a robot, who doesn’t really have a gender. (She is programed to “feel” female) In the 3rd book she meets a fish who changes gender and Roz relates to it. Weird and slightly suspicious that the author felt the need to push this subject not as a fact but more in a woke way. A few years ago I would of thought this as a fun fact in a book about the ocean. But now I usually know when something  is being put purposely into a book or not. So here is the warning for parents who would like to be aware of that small conversation. It is on pages 82-84.

For those offended I am mentioning this, I do not despise any LGBT people, but I am trying to live the values and teachings of the Bible. It is your free will given by God to live an LGBT life, and it is my free will given by God to disagree. If you don’t like me and my reviews because I am a God-Fearing Christian, then you don’t have to read my reviews. This review (and website) is for parents, families and kids who don’t want to read that stuff.

Overall, this was a great end to an amazing series! I most definitely suggest the Wild Robot books to kids 7 and up who love a great adventure. Just watch out for the weird part in the novel. Have a beautiful day!!! -The Young Llama Reader.
