I am just LOVING this series!!!!! And lucky for me, my friends got me book 2 for Christmas!!! (Thank you my Hayes friends!!!!!)
This book is about 4 sisters. Each of the girls are vastly different in their hobbies and ideas, but one thing is agreed upon when their father starts dating again… It must be stopped!!! With twisty lies, daring sabotage and a super nice neighbor, this adventure isn’t what the Penderwick’s were expecting…
I really enjoyed this book. It was super cute, totally funny and has an amazing focus on family and fixing the wrong by doing right. It is a fantastic novel great for young girls 7 and up! It is also a great book that shows how a family can find love after loss.
There isn’t really any ‘cons’ in the book. The only warning I would give is the girls lie a lot. They lie about homework, babysitting and such. But they also tell the truth in the end to complete the hilarious, heart-warming book!
Overall, I love the Penderwick series! It is so clean, so good and soooooo funny! This is a book series I definitely suggest to girls who love a family adventure! -The Young Llama Reader
