Why do I love mystery novels so much? Is it the action that keeps me on the edge of my seat?!? Or is it the the twists and turns that make me wonder where it is going next?!? Or is it the super sweet romance that happens in the midst of gunshots and stalkers?!?!?! It might be all three, but this book is seriously awesome and a must read!
This book is about Sara, a women under the FBI’s protection for over 20 years since she was kidnapped as a kid. Now her stalker seems to be getting closer and closer and Sara is just trying to disappear. But Adam, a famous football player who lives in the spotlight she is trying to hide from, won’t let her. And Sara is worried is she falls in love with him that he will get dragged into her prison of a life… But maybe love is worth some sacrifices after all?
This book is sooooooooo good! I totally suggest it to girls 14 and up looking for a fantastic suspenseful read! It has such a great focus on trusting God with your life and your love. I loved the plot line, I loved the action and I loved the book!!!!!! (Totally going on my favorite shelf…)
Now, this is the FBI. There is violence… Mention of being kidnapped, getting hurt, scars (both physical and emotional), mention of guns, stalkers, and more. Nothing is overly described, but stuff is mentioned. This book really dives into going through trials in life and figuring out how to keep going no matter what. It has some dark topics, but is still a very clean read.
Overall, this book was beautiful. I loved it, I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and I hope you all enjoy it too! May your day be Blessed! -The Young Llama Reader.
