Review

So, I have fallen in love with this series sooooo much!!!!!! This is the 5th book and it is soooooooo good! It’s funny, (in a sarcastic kind-of way!) interesting and plot twisting.

The books are about the 3 orphans who are being chased after by the evil Count Olaf who wants to steal their family’s fortune. In this book they are sent to this academy to live for awhile, but still have to survive very unlucky events while attending school!

The books are very funny, with only a few mentions of violence and some deaths. The orphans do go through quite the journey with each book, but it is just soooo very enjoyable to read!!!!

Over all, this is a great book for family’s, kids and teens to read! (Though there is some violence and there are no happy endings) I hope you all have a great day!!!! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • A VERY sarcastically funny book!!!!

Cons

  • Very sarcastic and and funny in a different kind-of way.
  • Kidnapping, some violence and people do die a lot.

The Austere Academy is the fifth novel in the childrens novel series A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. The Baudelaire orphans are sent to a boarding school, overseen by monstrous employees. There, the orphans meet new friends, new enemies, and Count Olaf in disguises.
