Review

This is the third book on my Llama Summer Book List and I am soooooo happy this one was good! This is a great book for young girls and is very clean. (I am sorry boys, but this is more of a girly-girl book. Sorry)

The book does have magic in it, but it’s more like the good magic. Ya know, magical dresses that turn you into a different person, frozen dragons that want to take over the kingdom… Good magic! And there was a weird magical word that could summon the magic from the castle; but it was like a “Bibb-it-ty Bobb-it-ty Boo!” kind-of magical word.

Over all, this is a great book for girls, and I definitely suggest it!  I hope this was helpful to you, and that you read this book soon! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • A very cute book and a great read for young girls
  • Kid-friendly

Cons

  • Lots of magic

Inside an enchanted castle, there’s a closet—a closet with one hundred dresses that nobody ever wears. Dresses like those need a good trying-on, and Darling Dimple is just the girl to do it. When she tries on Dress Number Eleven, something unbelievable happens. She transforms into the castle’s Head Scrubber! It turns out that each dress can disguise her as someone else. And Darling is about to have an adventure that calls for a disguise or two . . . or a hundred.
