This book was sent to me by Baker Book House, and it was fantastic! There was romance, drama, mystery, action and a bit of murder. Totally my kind of book!
This book is about a young women who wants to train horses on her father’s ranch. When he passes, he leaves a dangerous secret for her to figure out before her home and horse are taken from her. Her only shot at making a name for herself is at the 1905 Mississippi Fair. And the only way she can get her colt ready in time is with help from the mysterious stranger that keeps asking questions about her horse…
This book was very good. There was plenty of twists and turns to keep me reading till the very end, and the story line was beautifully written! This book is for older girls. (16 and up) Lots of violence, people with secrets and plenty of talk about murder. (Nothing described only mentioned)
Over all, I really enjoyed this book and I will be looking for more by this author very soon! -The Young Llama Reader.
