Did you know Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering and honoring people who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces? I mean, wow! I am so honored that people I didn’t even know died for me, so I could have my freedom… Millions of soldiers went to war, knowing they may not make it out alive, so you and I could be free.
There are sooooo many men and women who have fought ‘unbeatable’ battles trying to win freedom for the future generation. Ya know, that’s kind-of what Jesus Christ did for us…He died on a cross to forgive ALL generations, and He loves every single soldier who fought in that horrible war, and He loves you and me too!
I am very thankful for the life I am living today; and I am VERY thankful for those soldiers who died so I can live it! So this Memorial Day, just be thankful. Don’t go wondering what’s the next thing your going to get, but instead, thank God for making brave men and women who will fight for our country! And for you too!!! -The Young Llama Reader.
