Review

Wow…This book is sooooooooooo amazing!!!!!!!!!! I totally suggest this book to teens and kids! Boys and girls! RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! This is a classic and a must read for any age. (Though a lot of people do drown in the book, I believe it is still kid-friendly.)

The book is about a professor and his friends getting stuck on the legendary Nautilus, with Captain Nemo. And they are trying to figure out a way to escape while exploring the ocean. (And sinking a few ships, letting a few people drown, and fighting sea monsters… COOL!)

I would say this book is kid-friendly, but again some people drown in the sea rather dramatically. They kill a lot of sea monsters and it does describe the ocean as ‘red’ after they kill them. And Captain Nemo was a little bit of a crazy man who liked to sink boats randomly… But it is still VERY kid-friendly and a great book for Christians too!

Over all, this is a must read if I ever knew one!!!!! I have never finished a book so fast and enjoyed it! I suggest this one right NOW! And it would also be a great family read too! -The Young Llama Reader.

Pros

  • Amazing adventure and action!
  • A GREAT book for boys and girls!

Cons

  • There is violence, and some people do drown…

Originally published in 1870, Verne’s amazing undersea adventure is one of the earliest science fiction novels ever written. Since that time, generations of readers have plunged below the ocean’s waves with Captain Nemo and his first-ever submarine, The Nautilus. It’s a voyage of exploration and the imagination.
