Struggling circus owner Max Medici enlists a former star and his two children to care for Dumbo, a baby elephant born with oversized ears. When the family discovers that the animal can fly, it soon becomes the main attraction — bringing in huge audiences and revitalizing the run-down circus. The elephant’s magical ability also draws the attention of V.A. Vandevere, an entrepreneur who wants to showcase Dumbo in his latest, larger-than-life entertainment venture.
Ok, I was not excited for this movie, I believe I watched the old Dumpo once. The old one was… weird and sad… And I never really want to see it again. But this one was GREAT!!! The movie was a little sad… but it was also Funny! (And I always approve of funny. AS long as it’s appropriate!) There is some violence in the movie, (If you watched the first Dumpo you might remember the elephant who… killed somebody…) In this movie there is NOTHING shown, but a tent does get knocked over rather violently and… well you know the rest.
Over all, this was a surprisingly good movie. And I do suggest it but the movie is rated PG (Parental Guidance Suggested) sooooooo for little kids you should probably have an adult. Have an fantastic day! -The Young Llama Reader.
